This money will be put towards the second phase of their dedicated research, innovation and education centre, Institute in the Park. The first phase of the building opened in March 2016 and brings together health professionals, researchers and educators with the aim of improving children's health regionally, nationally and internationally. Alder hey children's charity is also fundraising to support the Alder Hey's pioneering food on demand service and for digital enchantments to distract patients and reduce anxiety.
